About MySwimEars

MySwimEars™ for water sports - the most effective radio transmitting system for water sports ever built!

MySwimEars™ enables the coach to talk directly to the swimmer both above and under the water, and provides real-time voice feedback throughout the training session.

MySwimEars™ is the premier waterproof underwater communication system using bone conduction technology.

The system consists of a poolside microphone and a transmitter supporting an unlimited number of MySwimEar™s waterproof headsets.  The Twelve-channel radio transmitter has a range of about 70 meters. MySwimEars™ supports all headsets in its range, including up to twelve different groups of swimmers operating on different channels.  The waterproof headset fits easily over any kind of swim cap. MySwimEars™ can be worn without a swim cap, held in place by the goggle straps. They even stay in place during starts and turns!

MySwimEars™ delivers the coach’s voice to the athlete through bone conduction technology, which amplifies sound vibrations to the ear, enhancing clarity when submerged.  The coach can talk to the swimmers on deck and in the pool because the ear canal is open. Listening is always perfect - above the water, under the water, even in a noisy, crowded pool!

SWIMMING

MySwimEars™ is the premier solution for in-pool training. MySwimEars™ ensures coaching of athletes everywhere in the pool - no waiting for swimmers to return to the wall to hear a new round of sendoffs or sets.   With MySwimEars™, the coach gives real-time feedback including motivation, encouragement, pacing, stroke rates, and technical reminders. The coach can even use the warm-up swim to hold a team meeting, introduce the practice, or jam a favorite music mix.

SWIM LESSONS

Using MySwimEars™ in a learn-to-swim environment, students attend with increased focus and are fully accessible to the instructor throughout the lesson.  One-to-one attention is provided during both teaching and practice swims. Instruction is multiplied with real-time correction and feedback creating faster skill acquisition and mastery.

OPEN WATER SWIMMING

Thanks to its 60-meter range, MySwimEars™ allows the open water swimmer to receive real-time coaching throughout their training session.  Coaches can provide spotting support, pacing feedback, and direction for more dynamic training. Coaches can now deliver more effective practice sessions from the boat or the beach, elevating and increasing the effectiveness of each swim.

SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING

MySwimEars™ allows the athlete to hear their coaches feedback up to 1.5 meters below the surface. This enables the coach to direct movement simultaneously with crisp and precise real-time music so that timing can be maximized. Up to twelve groups can train in the same pool with their own music and their own coach, allowing for a more effective use of practice sessions for each group and the team as a whole.

WATER POLO

During skills session, coaches use MySwimEars™ to deliver instruction for every athlete in the pool, including those with their heads under water.  Athletes practice player coordination in fast break situations as well as setting up an offense or maneuvering a defense before launching their skills in a scrimmage or game situation.  Up to twelve skill groups can be separately instructed. Offensive and defensive squads can be directed separately.

PARALYMPICS

MySwimEars™ guides blind athletes through practice in real time. Safety cues promote an effective training session with reduced risk of impact injury.  Blind swimmers gain tremendous confidence through constant auditory connection with their coach, opening up a new world of access and participation.

MySwimEars™ allows deaf athletes using bone conduction support to hear in the water in the same manner that they access sound through their regular bone conduction hearing devices. Athletes who use hearing aids may hear better underwater with MySwimEars™. Swimmers with cochlear implants will receive input as vibration signals only.
